Elephant Sanctuary (Sunday August 24, 2008)
Elephant Sanctuary Survival Tip: The sanctuary is practically in the middle of the jungle. It is really hot, really humid and you will get a nice tan on any exposed skin. Elephant Sanctuary Survival Tip: In you want to interact with the elephants (ride and bathe with them) you will need to reserve a yellow ticket, if you just want to feed them and see other people interact with them, you will need a red ticket. Elephant Sanctuary Survival Tip: The activities with the elephants only occur once a day; Fridays from 2:45pm to 4:00pm (because of Prayer time), any other day from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Elephant Sanctuary Survival Tip: If you are the last person riding the elephant on land, you can ride it into the river; if you are the last person taking a bath with the elephant, you can ride it out of the river. Elephant Sanctuary Survival Tip: If you choose to get into the water, please remember to keep your mouth closed since the water in the river is really brown. Also, if you have any recent cuts or open blisters... well, the water is really brown.
